By now, you should be knowing the most popular features of your iPhone 12 Pro Max. In this blog, lets take a look on some of the hidden features you still might not be knowing about:

1. ProRAW Camera Setting:

Apple has launched new ProRAW feature for photo capture. You can enable this by going into Formats section in the camera settings. Once you enable this, you can adjust the photos you click without loosing quality.

Unlike old days, increasing brightness will not negatively impact your photo quality. Isn't it cool.

2. MagSafe Charging:

By now, you should have used the wireless charging feature of your iPhone 12 Pro Max. But, did you tried MagSafe chargers? 

MagSafe chargers can be attached to your phone's back with a magnet and can charge your phone with just a click.

3. Back Tap:

This feature enables you to double tap on the back of the phone and link it to a specific command, like take a screenshot, open Spotify, etc! It’s super nifty and is like having your favorite app or shortcut on speed dial.

To do this, go to Settings, then Accessibility, then Touch. There you’ll find the Back Tap option. You can also add a command to Triple Tap!

4. Camera and Microphone Use Icons:

This new feature will be beneficial to protect your privacy and security. Some apps use our phone's camera and microphone without our knowledge - which this phone gets rids off.

Now, with this new feature if any app is using camera of your phone, then a green dot will appear in the top right hand side of your phone. If microphone is in use, ten an orange dot will appear.

You can easily keep track if any app is using any of these features without your consent and take actions accordingly !!

5. Alternative Face ID Settings:

Isn't it cool to have your phone detect your face as well as your kids face to unlock it. You can use this cool feature for your spouse, partner, best buddy or if your phone does not recognize with beard vs beard not !!

6. Change Your Default Browser:

You don't want to keep safari as your default browser? No problem, with the new options in iPhone Pro Max, you can simply go to the Settings >> click Chrome or any browser of your choice and choose to make it "Default Browser".

Wasn't it easy !!

7. Reading Modes:

Apple's Safari browser will help you read a web page now. Just click on the "AA" icon next to the URL to turn the webpage into reading mode, taking away all the annoying ads and formatting that can make webpages tough to scan.

You can then go even further and hold down the ‘AA’ icon and change the page to dark mode, gray scale, or sepia, depending on what works best for your eyes.
